Passport and Visa deadlines

Important! Many countries require you to have a valid passport in hand 4-6 months prior to arrival to meet student entry visa processing deadlines. Plan ahead and apply or renew your passport early. Do not wait until the last minute.

Late applications

Program deadlines are typically the last day to submit your online application. When possible, we will work with you to accommodate a later application. After receiving your welcome email, you will have a short time to log in to your Student Gateway portal and submit your supporting documents. You must be prepared to move quickly and have a passport that is valid for a minimum six months beyond the program end date. You should also be ready to pay in full or complete payment arrangements by the balance due deadline or upon acceptance if the due date has passed. If your program requires a student visa, you may not have sufficient time to obtain the visa in advance and will need to apply once you arrive onsite (where allowed).
