Why study in Gold Coast or Brisbane?
Live and study surrounded by Australia’s beautiful beaches and scenery on the Gold Coast and Brisbane program. Situated on the East Coast, this program allows for easy exploration of all that Australia has to offer.
Choose from Griffith University’s four campus locations — Gold Coast campus in Gold Coast or Brisbane City, Brisbane South (Nathan), Brisbane South (Mt. Gravatt) located in Brisbane — and study a wide variety of courses such as multimedia telecommunications, internet computing, biomolecular science, visual media, international relations, and banking and finance.
Australian semesters differ from those in the U.S. You may participate in one or both trimesters: Trimester 1 runs from February to June, and Trimester 2 runs from July to October.
Gold Coast
The Gold Coast location offers a unique blend of modern city and stunning nature. Nicknamed “Australia's playground,” you can find international cuisines, cultural entertainment, theme parks, and local and international theatre alongside abundant natural beauty, including sandy beaches perfect for surfing, national parks, rainforests, and wildlife sanctuaries.
Brisbane
If sunshine and outdoor recreation are what you seek, the Brisbane location in Queensland averages 300 days of sunshine a year and a subtropical climate with mild winters and warm summers. Explore a vast landscape including outback deserts, lush tropical rain forests, surfing beaches, and the coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef, or enjoy cultural and sporting events, exhibitions, and live performances in the bustling city of Brisbane.
