With its over 1000-year-long history, the city offers a unique blend of old and new in its art, architecture, and culture. Marvel at Prague’s beauty from the hills around the city, from old bridges and steamer ships on the Vltava River, and even from a rowboat. With its narrow, curved streets, marvelous courtyards, and green parks, you can easily walk or ride a bike around the city.

Prague is only a few hours away from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Poland. During a free weekend you can board an overnight train and wake up in Krakow or Berlin. The small but very modern Prague airport offers good opportunities to fly to most places in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and there are also several student travel agencies offering bargain flights to popular destinations.

You can attend for a semester, January session, academic year, or one or two summer sessions. Course topics include Central Europe and the Czech Republic, politics, literature, history, business, psychology, sociology, and the arts. Semester or yearlong students will also learn the basics of the Czech language in a two-week Czech intensive course at the beginning of each semester. Additionally, semester students may also choose to complete an internship, which provides an unmatched opportunity to practice your language skills and gain professional international experience.
