Why study in Verona?

Verona is a medium-sized city ideal for students interested in history, the arts, and nature, with easy access to the rest of Europe. The city is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its remarkable urban structure and architecture.
Experience history firsthand at Verona's many historical palaces, bridges, squares, and churches, and visit the Arena di Verona, an ancient Roman amphitheater built in the first century that still hosts concerts, operas, and theatre performances today. Marvel at the region's natural beauty, along the Adige River, at nearby Lake Garda, or in the Dolomite Mountains. Verona’s excellent transportation network—including buses, an airport, and both high-speed and regional trains—also makes it easy to explore nearby destinations like Venice, Switzerland, Austria, or Slovenia.
You can study for one or two summer sessions, a semester, or a year, and choose from a variety of courses in international business, tourism, and Italian studies. All semester and yearlong students take an intensive Italian language course during the first six weeks of the their program to help them connect more easily with the local community; students attending in the summer can take an Italian language class if desired but it is not required.
The Verona program combines academic coursework with practical learning like business visits, field trips, tours, local festivals and traditions, and other activities around the city to extend your study beyond the classroom and provide a fulfilling study abroad experience.
