USAC internships abroad are a great way to enhance your educational experience. Participating in a structured work or research experience with an international organization, whether in-person or virtually, will help you gain valuable skills and hands-on experience while expanding your professional network and immersing yourself in the workplace culture of Spain and the Basque Country.

1-credit micro-internships are available for sign up onsite. Placements may be available in journalism, english-language instruction, and NGO and social services. For more details consult on-site staff upon arrival.

There is no internship placement fee for 1-credit micro-internships, which are available during semester and year-long programs.

Internship placements in San Sebastián require six semesters of college Spanish unless otherwise noted.
