On-Site Staff for San Sebastián, Spain
The San Sebastián program has a Resident Director (RD) who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program, including organizing the mandatory on-site orientation, securing appropriate student housing, hiring outstanding faculty, organizing exciting field trips and optional tours, and overseeing your general well-being.
Meet the Resident Director
Miriam Diaz Granado is the Resident Director for the San Sebastián program. Miriam brings a wealth of experience in Spain, U.S., and Canada, including language teaching and researching, and designing and leading study abroad programs in Spain and Dominican Republic. She is a native to the Basque country, lives close by to the program, and speaks Basque, Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
She will arrange for the group flight to be met at the airport and will provide the mandatory on-site orientation. The USAC San Sebastián program staff—Aizpea, Cecilia, and Tito—are also available for support and resources while you are on the program.
