The University of Pau consists of several colleges, polytechnic institutes, and professional institutes and has over 13,139 enrolled students (8,440 at the Pau Ccampus). USAC classes and offices are located on the main campus, situated in the northern part of the city about a mile and a half from the center of town. It has an attractive, spacious campus with libraries, two large dining halls and a café, several residence halls and a variety of sports facilities including rugby and soccer fields, a huge indoor climbing wall, and a track. The campus is well-connected to the city by a convenient bus system that offers an economical, unlimited monthly pass and also runs to the airport and surrounding cities.
