The USAC staff will help you find volunteer opportunities in the local community. It's a great way to get involved, practice your Spanish skills, and give back.

Examples of volunteer opportunities

Pan y Peces

Volunteer at a food bank in the city center to help local families in need. Student jobs may include making fruit and vegetable bags, stacking shelves with food, cleaning shelves, floors, refrigerators and bathrooms.

Local Bilingual School

USAC students have volunteered at a local bilingual elementary school. This provides an excellent chance to see how the Spanish educational system works and practice their Spanish.
