Academics
USAC’s partnership with Yonsei University provides you with an array of academic offerings taught in English. Students who already have an advanced level of Korean language may also enroll in courses taught in Korean.
Yonsei’s minimum full-time enrollment requirement is 9 semester credits. USAC students normally take 12-15 credits; however, due to classroom capacity limits that have been put in place at Yonsei, we cannot guarantee that all students will be able to take a minimum of 12 credits during the semester. Although you will submit your desired courses to Yonsei in advance; course registration will not be confirmed and finalized until after you have arrived onsite. Consult with advisors at your home university to understand your minimum credit requirements and any steps that will need to be taken if you are not able to enroll in more than 9 semester credits at Yonsei. The maximum amount of credits you can take is 18 credits.

Course Descriptions
To obtain course syllabi, click on the link below and follow the prompts to specific course information. Please contact the USAC Advising department if you have difficulty finding the information.
- Yonsei University (Semester)
- Switch language to English then click on Course Catalogue and Syllabus
- From the first drop down menu select the year and semester i.e.: “2025” “2nd Semester”
- For courses offered in the Fall term choose “2nd Semester.” For courses offered in the Spring term choose “1st Semester.”
- Note: You will likely need to view a previous term as Yonsei doesn't release courses until shortly before the semester starts.
- From the second drop down menu select one of the following “Undergraduate Programs or Graduate programs”
- Do not choose one with Mirae at the end
- From the third drop down menu select an appropriate college of study
- To see a varied blend of elective courses that are open to all exchange students, select study abroad course
- Finally, click on the search button. This should pull up the courses offered in that college for that semester
- * Course syllabus is available by clicking on the single page icon between the class section and credit columns
- * You can filter to English courses only by checking the box "View only English lectures in the results"
- * Check the Language column to see what language the course is taught in
- * Students can only take courses marked “Y” in the Eligibility of Exchange Student column, regardless of if they are taught in English
