USAC’s partnership with Kookmin University provides you with a wide array of courses taught in English. You are required to enroll in the equivalency of 12-15 U.S. credits per semester. A typical course load at Kookmin is 12-15 credits per semester. Areas of study believed to be of most interest to USAC students are included below as a sample of what the university offers. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites which are determined by Kookmin University.

The intensive Korean language program at Kookmin University has a low intermediate and intermediate track for those who have already completed their first year of Korean language studies. This is a 15-18 credit fixed program. You will take a language placement exam onsite to determine which track you'll take. If you place too low on the placement exam, you will need to take regular undergraduate courses as identified above.

Eligibility
All Korea programs require applicants to be full-time, degree-seeking, students attending a 4-year institution of higher education at the time of application. Additional eligibility requirements are outlined below.
