On-Site Staff for Verona, Italy

Specialty programs have an on-site Resident Director (RD) who provides comprehensive support to students throughout their study abroad experience. RDs are responsible for the academic curriculum and faculty. Gozde Lago, the USAC Verona Resident Director is assisted by Rosa Mangiafico, the Program Assistant.

Gozde is both Italian and Turkish, and is fluent in English, Italian, French, and Turkish. She has extensive experience in international higher education and holds a Master's degree in International Relations and European Affairs, a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Political Science, as well as certificates and training in leadership, team management, and more.

Rosa Mangiafico is the Verona Program Assistant. She has more than ten years of experience in the field of education. She earned her Physics degree from the University of Trieste in Italy, and she speaks Italian, English, and French.

The Resident Director and Program Coordinator meet the group flight at the airport, provide on-site orientation, take you to your program housing, and organize interesting field trips and optional tours.
