On-Site Staff for Khon Kaen, Thailand

Specialty Programs have an on-site Resident Director (RD) who provides comprehensive support to students throughout their study abroad experience. RDs run and manage the entire program on site.

Resident Director Chaidarun

Chaidarun "Jum" Tippawan is the Resident Director of the Kohn Kaen program and has been a Resident Director with USAC since fall 2013. She speaks English and Thai fluently and received her master's degree from Uppsala University in Sweden.

Jum is supported by Program Assistant Paradee “Pinky” Tungtang. She is a Ph.D. graduate in Translation Studies from the University of Warwick, U.K. She has lived in Khon Kaen for more than 20 years, studying and teaching at Khon Kaen University. She loves theater plays, singing and playing piano.

Program Assistant Paradee

The USAC staff will meet the group flight at the airport and provide the mandatory on-site orientation, as well as additional support and resources while you are on the program. Moreover, all of the faculty for the program, in addition to teaching excellent courses, can also give the best advice on how to live and study in Thailand.
