The Rabat program has a Resident Director (RD) who provides comprehensive support to students throughout their study abroad experience.

Meet the Resident Director

The USAC Rabat RD is Dr. Jeremy Doughty, who brings two decades of experience in international education. Originally from the United States, Jeremy studied abroad twice in Germany and has lived and worked internationally, including work with the Peace Corps in Ukraine and professional experience in South Africa. He previously served as the London-based RD for USAC England.

As the Rabat RD, Jeremy meets students upon arrival, leads a comprehensive orientation, and supports students as they settle into daily life in Morocco. He teaches, organizes field trips and local activities that connect students with Moroccan culture, and provides ongoing academic, personal, and cultural support throughout the program, ensuring students feel supported, engaged, and confident during their time abroad.
