Living accommodations for Rabat, Morocco

Homestays

Homestays are one of the most culturally immersive ways to experience Moroccan culture. As a student, you will live with a Medina host family during your program term, where you’ll share two meals a day, participate in daily routines, and experience life as a Rabat resident.A student and her host at the homestay while studying abroad in Rabat, Morocco.

The Center for Cross Cultural Learning (CCCL) partners with more than 150 carefully selected English-speaking host families who have experience hosting international and U.S. students throughout the years. You’ll be welcomed as part of the family and may find yourself attending celebrations, sharing meals, and exploring medina souks together. It’s customary to enjoy mint and green tea throughout the day with friends, neighbors, and your host family.

Your homestay will include a private, single-occupancy bedroom with a shared bathroom, kitchen, and Wi-Fi. You’re within a 15-minute walk to CCCL, through the bustling Medina area.

Throughout your stay, CCCL provides guidance and support to ensure a positive experience for everyone. While you grow through cultural immersion, host families also gain a broader perspective of the world — making the exchange meaningful on both sides.
