Seoul - Yonsei University Courses – 2025 Summer

Studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are so use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. You may also encounter different teaching styles and course processes; be prepared to adapt and to learn.

Academics

USAC's partnership with Yonsei University provides you with an array of academic offerings taught in English during the six-week summer session. Course offerings are vast and regularly include subjects ranging from arts and humanities to business, science, and Asian studies. Areas of study believed to be of most interest to USAC students are included below as a sample of what the university offers. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites which are determined by Yonsei University. Yonsei University is AACSB, KABEA, and EQUIS accredited.

All courses at Yonsei University are worth three credits and taught in English. You will enroll in one to three courses, for a total of three to nine credits.

Internships

Students enrolled in the summer program at Yonsei University are eligible to apply for the corporate and research internship programs (approximately 20 hours per week; 2-credits). The Corporate Internship Program offers you direct exposure to global corporate settings in the heart of Seoul, taking advantage of Yonsei University's vast alumni networks, and strong ties with business and educational partners. The Research Internship Program offers selected students the opportunity to participate in research projects or work as an intern in research centers or organizations at Yonsei University.

Eligibility

Kookmin University

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5 (all terms)
  • Semester programs only:
    • Minimum class standing: Sophomore
    • Open to degree-seeking students attending a 4-year institution at the time of application

Korea University

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5 (all terms)
  • Semester programs only:
    • Minimum class standing: Applicants must have sophomore standing or higher at time of application, and
      transfer students must have completed at least one semester at their current institution.

Yonsei University

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5 (all terms)
  • Semester programs only:
    • Applicants must be degree-seeking at a 4-year institution and have sophomore standing at time of application. In addition to above, transfer students must have one semester completed at their current institution.
