Gwangju Courses – 2024 Summer

Studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are so use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. You may also encounter different teaching styles and course processes; be prepared to adapt and to learn.

Academics

USAC’s partnership with Chonnam National University (CNU) provides you with an array of academic offerings taught in English. Each summer, CNU invites qualified professors from the U.S. and other countries to teach specialized courses alongside their local faculty. This is a unique opportunity for you to learn from U.S., Korean, and other international professors. Because of this, course offerings will vary each summer. You are required to take 3-6 U.S. credits. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites, which are determined by CNU. CNU has AACSB accreditation and is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea.
