Nora O'Connor, Program Supervisor for Cork, Ireland

The Cork Summer Specialty Program is administered in the U.S. by the USAC Central Office and in Cork, Ireland, by Program Supervisor/Summer Resident Director (RD) Nora O’Connor.

A native of Cork, Nora holds a bachelor’s degree in health and life sciences and a master’s degree in public health. Nora will oversee the Cork Summer Session Specialty Program, provide a mandatory on-site orientation, arrange program housing, organize interesting field trips, including an optional tour of Southwest Ireland, and oversee students' general well-being.

Semester term staff

The Cork Partnership Program is administered in the U.S. by the USAC Central Office and in Cork, Ireland, by the University College Cork (UCC) International Office. Host university staff are available to answer questions about academic matters and housing, to assist with course registration, and to oversee your general well-being. Marita Foster (Deputy Director), Karen McSweeney (Visiting Student Manager), and Mary-Bríd Murphy (Senior Executive Assistant), along with their staff at the UCC International Office, will provide a mandatory on-site orientation, assist you with integrating into campus life, and connect you with on-campus services and resources.
