On-Campus Pre-Arranged Accommodations

Melbourne Burwood

The Burwood Student Village is within walking distance of the main campus which offers facilities including a health clinic, food outlets, uni bar, hairdressers, and bank—and the local shopping center is a short distance away. It is easily accessed by public transport from Melbourne's city center. Set in an attractive landscape alongside Gardiners Creek, the village is adjacent to barbecues, walking paths, a running track, and parklands. There are single rooms in a co-educational and multi-cultural environment. All units have a communal lounge, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. As students are responsible for preparing their own meals, each unit contains a fully equipped kitchen—basic cooking utensils are provided.

Warrnambool

Residences are set amidst spacious grounds which extend to the banks of the Hopkins River. A nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, basketball/netball court, and squash court, a football oval and gymnasium are featured on campus. A daily bus service operates from the university to the city and surrounding areas. Accommodation is in a co-ed and multicultural environment. Various styles of accommodation are offered. Each resident is accommodated in their own furnished bedroom and all buildings have communal lounge areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry facilities.

Geelong Waurn Ponds

Residences are part of the campus and are set in a picturesque landscape close to all of the University’s main facilities; Peter Thwaites Lecture Theatre, library, computer labs, dining room, and shops. Sporting facilities such as the tennis courts, ovals, and the KD Stewart Centre—which houses squash courts, basketball courts and a gymnasium—are all within a short walking distance from the residences. A daily bus service operates from the University to the city and surrounding areas. Accommodation is in a co-educational and multicultural environment. Each resident is accommodated in their own furnished bedroom and all buildings have communal lounge areas, kitchens, and bathrooms.

Off-Campus Pre-Arranged Accommodation

If you choose to pre-arrange your off-campus housing, a selection of furnished accommodation is available, ranging from shared apartments to residential college style. Facilities include a range of single and shared bedrooms with shared bathroom suites, lounge/dining, and shared kitchen.

Off-Campus Accommodation

If you choose to locate housing once you arrive, please note that costs vary depending on location and lifestyle. Your options will include off-campus residences, full board, and casual accommodation. Students seeking assistance locating off-campus housing are strongly advised to arrive two weeks prior to orientation to allow time to view and select accommodation. You will be assisted with transportation to look at accommodation options, and temporary accommodation upon arrival can be pre-arranged.
