Where did you study abroad?

I studied abroad in La Habana, Cuba during the Winter session.

What is your favorite memory from your time abroad?

A view of historic buildings and the Cuban flag in La Habana, Cuba.

My favorite memory in Cuba was eating New Years Eve dinner with my host family and their friends. Afterwards my friends and I went to a local bar to ring in the New Year.

What is your favorite place you have traveled to and why?

View of lush landscape with mountains in the background. I like to think that I have not yet visited my favorite place. There is so much of the world left to explore!

If you could go on any USAC program, what would it be and why?

Hands down I would choose to go on our Bengaluru, India program. The culture in India has always fascinated me and I would love to be able to live like a local for a few months.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy shopping, reading, finding new places to eat, and walking my dog, Moose.

What’s on your bucket list?

I have a pretty extensive bucket list. My top travel-related ones are to go on a transatlantic cruise and to drive the length of the Baja Peninsula.

What is a favorite food that you have tried while abroad?

My favorite thing I ate in Cuba was Arroz Moro.
