Hospitality Internship Program

USAC is excited to announce our newest experiential learning option in Alicante, Spain. Students participating in the Hospitality Internship Program will combine a structured work experience with complementary courses designed to provide valuable insights into the hospitality industry and the language and culture of Spain.

USAC internships abroad are a great way to enhance your educational experience. Participating in a structured work or research experience with an international organization, whether in-person or virtually, will help you gain valuable skills and hands-on experience while expanding your professional network and immersing yourself in the workplace culture of Spain.

A $985 internship placement fee will be required of all students participating in an in-person USAC internship. This fee helps offset the costs of securing quality internship placements and helps provide a range of professional development activities, including an online internship seminar, career workshops, and panel discussions.

Internship placements in Alicante require six semesters of college Spanish unless otherwise noted

An archeology museum that is committed to the renewal of the traditional exhibition system, understood as a collection of properly classified and cataloged finds from Prehistory, Iberian Culture, Roman Culture and the Middle Ages as well as archaeology methods in
the Field Archeology Room, the Urban Archeology Room, and the Underwater Archeology Room.

  • Observe and participate in the operations and management of the translation office

  • Develop a digital marketing strategy including adding additional marketing channels and platforms
  • Preparation of materials for social media marketing campaigns
  • Translation and updating of marketing materials for the American market

A television channel broadcasting a variety of local, national, and global news as well as programming focusing on sports, the economy, option, culture, and lifestyle and leisure.

  • High advanced Spanish proficiency and previous journalism experience required for journalism roles
  • Six semesters of college Spanish required for technical roles
