Living Accommodations for Stirling, Scotland
Housing is guaranteed for all USAC students who are accepted to study at the University of Stirling and who apply for housing by the application deadline. Although USAC provides housing information, you must apply for housing separately.
The university has almost 2,300 student spaces in undergraduate residence halls on campus. These include flats as well as a small number of Scandinavian-style chalets, usually five-person buildings with their own cooking facilities. Most of the student residences are located on the north shore of the campus loch, which is a wildlife reserve teeming with ducks and swans.
There are also options for off-campus accommodation in the city of Stirling in shared flats. Typically, all flats have six to eight single study bedrooms with shared kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas. Laundry facilities are available. USAC students normally are housed with third- and fourth-year Stirling undergraduate students. Each flat has an entry phone system to allow admission to the units to be controlled by the residents. You may choose to cook your own meals, eat in one of the restaurants located on campus or in one of the cafés in Stirling. The Catering Office has a variety of discounted plans for on-campus dining.
