Living accommodations for Kookmin University

Residence hall: KMU-managed housing

Summer housing, included in USAC Summer program fee. Semester and Yearlong housing, fees are paid individually onsite.

Live in the on-campus residence hall, a quick 10-minute walk to classes. Each is a suite-style dormitory including beds, shower stalls, toilets, and internet access. USAC students who select to stay in the on-campus residence hall are placed in a quadruple occupancy room during the semester and a double occupancy room during the summer. The on-campus residence hall features a large cafeteria (with optional meal plan for purchase), laundry rooms, fitness room, and a convenience store. Several lounges provide comfortable study space.

Private off-campus apartments: Raon Stay

Raon Stay is Kookmin’s recommended, off-campus housing provider for semester students, offering private apartment accommodations for students seeking greater independence. Located just a 15–30 minute walk from campus, it provides convenient access to nearby amenities including convenience stores, cafés, local markets, and Bukhansan National Park. Designed with exchange students in mind, Raon Stay aims to create a living experience that feels safe, comfortable, and supportive, helping students feel at home while studying in Korea. Apartments are fully equipped with essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a washing machine, refrigerator, and safety features including gas and fire detectors, and fire insurance.
