On-site staff for Seoul, Korea

The Seoul program is administered in the U.S. by USAC and in Seoul by our international partners. The university staff at your selected program location will assist you with securing appropriate student housing, provide the mandatory on-site orientation, help with registration, organize exciting field trips and optional tours, and oversee your general well-being. See below to learn more about the people or offices who will be your main point of contact onsite.

Kookmin University

Jeongwon Lee is a Manager at the International Affairs Division, Kookmin University. He joined Kookmin University in 2007 and has been working with international students for most of his time at Kookmin.

He is a highly experienced personnel in International education and has organized many study abroad programs for different target groups. Currently, he oversees the incoming programs and helps students to have a successful study abroad at Kookmin.

Korea University

Global Services Center (GSC) was established in 2017 to enhance the academic experiences of international students by providing the highest level of knowledge and expertise in advising life on KU campus. With the rapid increase in the number of international and exchange/visiting students, it is their mission to ensure students receive maximum academic and cultural benefit from their stays on campus.

The Center is part of Korea University’s administration division offering services to students, as well as supporting numerous academic departments to minimize the difficulties students may experience adjusting to their new life at Korea University and in Korea.

Yonsei University

Since its establishment in 1966 as the first international office among Korean universities, the OIA has developed significant partnerships with leading universities around the world to develop collaborative global strategies, initiatives, and programs and ensure a culturally rich environment for students and faculty on campus. The office consists of two teams: the International Affairs Team, and Global One-Stop Service Center (GOSC).

The International Affairs Team is in charge of international partnerships, exchange programs, international visits and protocol, and non-degree programs including Yonsei's international Summer and Winter Schools.
Global One-Stop Service Center is in charge of supporting the international community at Yonsei University, by providing various services from visa guidance to transition to a new environment.

Eligibility

All Korea programs require applicants to be full-time, degree-seeking, students attending a 4-year institution of higher education at the time of application. Additional eligibility requirements are outlined below.

Kookmin University

Korea University
