Living Accommodations for Kookmin University

KMU Managed Housing: Residence Hall

Semester and Summer; included in USAC Summer program fee

Live in the on-campus residence hall, a quick 10-minute walk to classes. Each is a suite-style dormitory including beds, shower stalls, toilets, and internet access (wired & wireless). USAC students stay in a quadruple occupancy room during the semester and a double occupancy room during the summer. The on-campus residence hall features a large cafeteria, laundry rooms, fitness room, and a convenience store. Several lounges provide comfortable study space.

Semester students, please note that availability of the residence hall is limited and a spot is not guaranteed.

Eligibility

Kookmin University

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5 (all terms)
  • Semester programs only:
    • Minimum class standing: Sophomore
    • Open to degree-seeking students attending a 4-year institution at the time of application

Korea University

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5 (all terms)
  • Semester programs only:
    • Minimum class standing: Applicants must have sophomore standing or higher at time of application, and
      transfer students must have completed at least one semester at their current institution.

Yonsei University

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5 (all terms)
  • Semester programs only:
    • Applicants must be degree-seeking at a 4-year institution and have sophomore standing at time of application. In addition to above, transfer students must have one semester completed at their current institution.

  • Korea University: 30 students
  • Yonsei University: 85 fall / 75 spring / 80 summer
