On-Site Staff for Torino, Italy
Specialty Programs have an on-site Resident Director (RD) who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program, including securing appropriate student housing, hiring top-level faculty, organizing field trips and optional tours, and overseeing your general well-being.
Meet the Resident Director
The Resident Director, Eliana Silvestro, has been with USAC since 2004 and became the RD in 2017. She holds a master's degree in Political Science and an advanced master's degree in Globalization and Development from the University of Torino. She is fluent in Italian, English, French, and Piedmontese dialect. She is assisted by program staff Daniele, who meets the group flight at the airport, provides on-site orientation, takes you to your program housing, and organizes interesting field studies and optional tours.
