On-Site Staff for Torino, Italy

USAC Torino staff (from left Daniele, Eliana, Mirko)

Specialty Programs have an on-site Resident Director (RD) who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program, including securing appropriate student housing, hiring top-level faculty, organizing field trips and optional tours, and overseeing your general well-being.

Eliana Silvestro has been with USAC since 2004 and has been the Resident Director of the Torino program since 2017. She holds a master's degree in Political Science and an advanced master's degree in Globalization and Development from the University of Torino. She is fluent in Italian, English, French, and Piemontese dialect.

The Resident Director, assisted by program staff Daniele and Mirko, meets the group flight at the airport, provides on-site orientation, takes you to your program housing, and organizes interesting field studies and optional tours.
