USAC internships abroad are a great way to enhance your educational experience. Participating in a structured work or research experience with an international organization, whether in-person or virtually, will help you gain valuable skills and hands-on experience while expanding your professional network and immersing yourself in the workplace culture of India.
Internships
You may elect to extend your semester in Bengaluru to participate in an optional month-long service-learning or documentary filmmaking internship with a local NGO, business, or community organization. Internship placements are made in collaboration with Christ University’s Center for Social Action. Established in 1999, CSA works towards promoting the value of social responsibility and is strongly engaged in addressing issues related to the socioeconomic development of women, children, and rural communities, community mobilization, education, persons with physical or intellectual disabilities, healthcare, the LGBTQIA+ community, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability, environment, and climate change.
There is a supplemental $985 fee for the month-long experiential learning component of the program. Participation in the semester-long Bengaluru program is required.
