USAC internships abroad are a great way to enhance your educational experience. Participating in a structured work or research experience with an international organization, whether in-person or virtually, will help you gain valuable skills and hands-on experience while expanding your professional network and immersing yourself in the workplace culture of India.
You may elect to extend your semester in Bengaluru to participate in an optional month-long service-learning internship with a local NGO, business or community organization. Service-learning placements are made in collaboration with Christ University’s Center for Social Action. Established in 1999, CSA works towards promoting the value of social responsibility amongst the student community and is strongly engaged in addressing issues related to the socio-economic development of women, youths and farmers, community mobilization, and issues of sustainability, environment and climate change.
There is a supplemental $985 fee for the month-long service-learning internship. Participation in the semester-long Bengularu program is a co-requisite for month-long service-learning internship option.
