On-Site Staff for Shanghai, China

The Shanghai program has a Resident Director (RD) who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program, including securing appropriate student housing, hiring outstanding faculty, organizing exciting field trips and optional tours, and overseeing your general well-being.

Jessica Wang, has been with USAC since 2013 serving as a program assistant, a Chinese language instructor and now, Shanghai’s RD. Jessica holds a master’s degree in English, foreign linguistics and applied linguistics, and a bachelor’s degree in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.

Mandy Pan, a native Shanghainiese, is the current program assistant. She helps with students' visa applications, housing arrangement and provides help to students in day-to-day life.
