The Shanghai program has a Resident Director (RD) who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program, including securing appropriate student housing, hiring outstanding faculty, organizing exciting field trips and optional tours, and overseeing your general well-being.

Meet the Resident Director

Resident Director Jessica Wang, has been with USAC since 2013 serving as a program assistant, a Chinese language instructor and now, Shanghai’s RD. Jessica holds a master’s degree in English, foreign linguistics and applied linguistics, and a bachelor’s degree in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.

The Shanghai program will not run in 2023-24.
Consider the Chinese studies option in Chiang Mai, Thailand instead.
