Haifa Courses – 2024 August
Studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are so use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. You may also encounter different teaching styles and course processes; be prepared to adapt and to learn.
Academics
USAC’s partnership with the University of Haifa during the summer provides you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the study of Hebrew and Arabic languages. During the July session, Hebrew is offered at levels from beginning to advanced. During the August session, you can study Hebrew at all levels or Spoken Arabic at the beginner level. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites which are determined by the University of Haifa.

Students who participate in the July session will enroll in one 5-credit intensive Hebrew language course:
Intensive Language Courses:
- Hebrew Language Aleph: Beginners
- Hebrew Language Bet: Lower Intermediate
- Hebrew Language Gimel: Upper Intermediate
- Hebrew Language Dalet: Lower Advanced
- Hebrew Language Hey: Advanced

Students who participate in the August session will enroll in either one 5-credit intensive Hebrew language course or one 5-credit intensive Arabic language course:
