The Bengaluru program is a USAC specialty program with an on-site Resident Director (RD) who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and the overall operations of the program. The RD provides on-site orientation, oversees your academic affairs, organizes activities, and provides valuable assistance and resources.

Meet the Resident Director

Resident Director Jacob John has more than a decade of experience in international education, a bachelor’s degree in hotel management, and master’s degrees in human resource management and management. Jacob previously oversaw the Bengaluru program from 2007–2017, returning to the role in the spring of 2025.
