The Bengaluru program has a Resident Director (RD) who oversees the USAC office abroad and is responsible for the overall operations of the program, including securing appropriate student housing, hiring outstanding faculty, organizing exciting field trips, and overseeing your general well-being.
Ms. Smriti Chhabra is the Resident Director for the Bengaluru program. Smriti has an undergraduate degree in math, statistics, and computer science; as well as a graduate degree in advertisement and communications, marketing management, and consumer behavior. She has over six years of experience in international, cultural, and education exchange supporting students in an academic environment. Smriti is originally from Hyderabad and has lived in Mumbai for over a decade.
Program Assistant Seema Shaji also assists USAC students at Christ University while in Bengaluru. The on-site staff will provide the mandatory orientation, help you with your cultural, social and educational adjustment, assist with your class registration and housing, organize local field trips, and oversee your general well-being.
