Homestay

You will stay with a host family during your time in Cuba. Our host families live in the Vedado neighborhood which is an ideal location considering its proximity to the university, U.S. embassy, and Habana Vieja (a popular destination for tourists). You’ll be able to enjoy the more authentic experience of living in the Vedado neighborhood while still having easy access to other popular areas nearby. You will stay in a double room with another USAC student and there will be multiple USAC students placed with each family. The common spaces of the home will be shared with the family which will allow you to spend time and communicate with them. Daily breakfast will be provided along with laundry once per week.
