International Student Dorm

USAC students will stay in the International Student Dorm on campus, a six-floor building shared with international educators, conveniently located within walking distance of academic buildings, libraries, cafeterias, and other campus facilities. Living in the international dorms fosters a multicultural environment where students from various countries can interact and engage in cultural exchange.

Room types

The dorm offers two room types. Single rooms, which include a private bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, and a private bathroom with a shower and Turkish-style toilet, and double rooms, which are shared and equipped similarly.

Facilities

Facilities include Wi-Fi or wired internet access in most rooms, communal laundry facilities on each floor, and kitchens on each floor where students must provide their own kitchenware. The living conditions ensure regular cleaning of common areas, while students are responsible for maintaining their own room cleanliness; the dorms are secure with 24-hour security and keycard access, and generally quiet, especially during study hours, as parties are not permitted.

Dining

Dining options feature on-campus cafeterias offering a variety of Chinese and international cuisines, along with nearby convenience stores or cafes, and students can also explore Chengdu's rich food culture with numerous restaurants and street food options available off-campus.
