Sustainable Business Operations

USAC understands the serious environmental impacts of excess, non-recyclable waste materials found in business settings. Therefore, we will work toward reducing and eliminating it in our business operations — including in our office supplies, promotional materials, building maintenance and materials, and energy consumption.

Sustainability efforts in our business operations

Consider environmental impact as it relates to office equipment, building materials, energy usage, and internal climate controls.

Continue to focus on reducing our carbon footprint through U.S.-based remote working opportunities — currently 40% of our staff are fully remote and 89% are hybrid.

Create staff opportunities to exchange, donate, or share items to foster a sustainable culture.

Implement paperless practices and decrease the use of non-recyclable paper products in offices, mailing, materials, promotions, and general use.

Eliminate non-biodegradable or non-recyclable plastic waste in office supplies, packaging, and other materials as identified.

Eliminate single-use plastic containers from offices and provide reusable options.

Increase sustainably manufactured marketing materials with green-focused vendors.
