Field Trips for Galway, Ireland
You are encouraged to participate in the organized field trips, which are included in your program fees. In addition to these field trips, the individual courses have field trips, performances, screenings, or outings built in to complement the topics you explore in class.
Aran Islands
Explore the Gaelic-speaking islands with their sweeping cliffs, ancient forts, and vibrant folk culture. You will experience one of the last strongholds of Irish culture as it was 100 years ago and more.
Connemara
The rugged western landscapes of Connemara are breathtaking. The mountains, valleys, lakes, and its haunting history of the 1840s Irish Famine, make it one of the most beautiful and powerfully affecting landscapes in Europe.
