Host University for Galway, Ireland

National University Ireland, Galway

The USAC program is located on the University of Galway campus (formerly, the National University of Ireland, Galway).

The university was founded in 1845 as Queen’s College Galway and today there are over 19,000 students attending classes on the 260-acre campus, which is situated along the banks of the River Corrib.

The original university buildings and old stone quadrangle are flanked by new buildings and green spaces, reflecting the university’s steady growth. The University of Galway is also among the world's highest ranked universities and one of the top public universities in Ireland, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings.
