Internships for Heredia, Costa Rica

Qualified semester and yearlong students may apply for internships. Interns receive a maximum of three credits but no financial compensation. The schedule and number of work hours will be determined by the schedule of USAC courses. Students must send in their application forms prior to the start of the program with a precise definition of their field of interest. For students who will be working in a non-English speaking environment, they must be able to communicate at an advanced level (Track III). Students will acquire the required Spanish technical terms on the job. Some placements do not require fluency in Spanish.
