Griffith University is offering their Community Internship virtually for the duration of Trimester 2, 2020. Students must have at least a sophomore class standing to participate.
Community Internship (all four campuses)
This program offers you service-learning opportunities in the nonprofit sector. You enroll in this internship for credit as you would any other course. Griffith will work with you to determine your goals once you are accepted.
Examples of Placement Areas Include:
Possible projects and assignments include: social media manager, accounting, youth program volunteer, activities assistant, animator/illustrator, tutor/mentor, conference coordinator, marketing assistant, community sustainability hub facilitator, events manager, home visitation assistant, counseling and court support worker, creative writing project facilitator, film/TV production assistant, finance liasion assitant, fundraising, garden project facilitator, grant and tender assistant, graphic design, human resources, interior design, iPad development, IT/website design, photography, prison ministries, risk management, water quality monitoring.
