These are four options students have used in the past: 1. Pay directly to the landlord in EUR. 2. Make a wire transfer from your home bank (in the US or elsewhere) to the Italian bank of the landlord (there may be additional fees for a wire transfer depending on your bank). 3. Open a personal low-cost bank account in Italy, and make a local wire transfer to the landlord’s bank account. 4. Go directly to the landlord’s bank to make a deposit for the rent payment.
