Studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are so use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. You may also encounter different teaching styles and course processes; be prepared to adapt and to learn.

Academics

USAC’s partnership with Linnaeus University provides you with a wide array of academic options at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Many courses are taught in English, and you may choose from courses offered in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, School of Business and Economics, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Technology. Students are required to enroll in at least 30 ECTS credits per semester, which equates to 15 U.S. semester credits. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites which are determined by Linnaeus University.

Linnaeus University has two main campus locations: Växjö and Kalmar. Due to the distance between the two campuses (approximately 75 miles), it is strongly recommended that students select courses from one campus, rather than both.
