June 5 Session I — First day of instruction

June 28 Session I — Last day of instruction
June 29 Session I final examinations
July 4 Session II — First day of instruction
July 8 Field trip — Saint Joseph's Caves & Chilches Beach
July 22 Field trip — Montanejos
July 27 Session II — Last day of instruction
July 28 Session II final examinations
July 29 Program ends
July 29 Move out of program housing
July 29 Optional group flight return | Individual return

Summer and Semester Programs:

Preferred 2.5 GPA

Summer Research Assistantship Program:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Junior standing at time of internship
  • Two semesters of college-level Spanish
    • Some research labs may have a higher language proficiency requirement
  • STEM Major or Minor
  • No COVID-19 vaccine exemptions
