Studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are so use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. You may also encounter different teaching styles and course processes; be prepared to adapt and to learn.
USAC’s partnership with the University of St Andrews provides you with the rich opportunity to study at one of the top 10 universities in Britain. In general, students take 60 St Andrews credits per semester, which is equal to 15 U.S. credits in the semester system. The Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Divinity both allow students to enroll in 50-70 credits, and the Faculty of Science allows 55-75. Courses are typically 15 to 30 St Andrews credits each. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites which are determined by the University of St Andrews.
