Specialty Programs have an on-site Resident Director (RD) who provides comprehensive support to students throughout their study abroad experience. USAC works in collaboration with the international office staff at the university.
Anna Lisiecka, former program assistant and Studies in English Coordinator for the Cracow University of Economics, is Kraków’s RD. Anna holds an undergraduate degree in ethnology, two graduate degrees in ethnology and public relations, and speaks Polish, English, German, and Czech. The RD and program staff meets the group flight at the airport, provides an on-site orientation, takes you to your program housing, and organizes interesting field trips and tours.
Anna is assisted by Łukasz Smug, who has been working the in International Programmes Office since 2017. He holds two graduate degrees in archeology and management, and he studied history of arts. In his free time, you would find Łukasz visiting art galleries and theatres or travelling around Europe. Program staff are available to provide support and advice through the duration of the program. Local students also lend a hand to support the program.
