Studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are so use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. You may also encounter different teaching styles and course processes; be prepared to adapt and to learn.

Academics

USAC's partnership with Massey University provides you with a wide array of academic options at the undergraduate and graduate level. You will take regular university classes alongside local students. You are required to enroll in the equivalency of at least 12 U.S. credits per semester. Qualified students also have the opportunity to enroll in a credit-bearing internship in the field of communication and media. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites which are determined by Massey University. Massey University is AACSB and ABET accredited.

Internships

Massey offers credit-bearing internships in the fields of business, communications, media studies, and journalism. Applications for these internships are restricted to seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher who are majoring in business, communications, public relations, advertising, media studies or a related field.
