Housing fees are included in the summer program fees. Students will spend most of their nights during the National Expedition in YHA Hostels which provides an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow students and other travelers from around the world.
During the internship portion of this program students are housed in an agricultural, summer camp-style hostel located in an orchard in Hastings. The hostel has separate accommodation buildings for males and females, a kitchen, recreation hall, and laundry facilities. Weekday breakfast are provided but students are responsible for their own lunches and dinners and can shop and plan group meals together, if desired. Over the final days of the program, students will be transported to Massey University’s Manawatu campus in Palmerston North and will be housed in on-campus accommodations.
