Studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are so use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. You may also encounter different teaching styles and course processes; be prepared to adapt and to learn.
USAC’s partnership with Chonnam National University (CNU) provides you with an array of academic offerings taught in English. Students who already have an advanced level of Korean language may also enroll in courses taught in Korean. Students have the option to participate in the regular exchange program on the main campus in Gwangju, or they can participate in the intensive Korean language program in Yeosu.
Main Campus in Gwangju
CNU is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea. Courses are subject to availability and approval of prerequisites, which are determined by CNU. You are required to take a minimum of 12 US credits; a typical course load is 12-15 US credits.
