August 10 - 11 Mandatory University of Ghana (UG)/USAC Orientation and UG Course Registration
August 14 Accra city tour
August 16 Field trip—Ada Beach and Shoreline excursion
August 17 Courses begin
August 21 Welcome dinner
August 27 - 30 Optional Northern Ghana Tour / Ghanaian Culture and Natural Resources Field Study I
September 5 - 6 Field trip—Cape Coast
Mid- September University of Ghana welcome durbar
September 18 - 20 Optional Eco Volta Tour / Culture and Natural Resources Field Study II
November 16 - 20 UG courses end and revision week
November 20 Final examinations begin
November 20 USAC courses end
November 22 Group Thanksgiving dinner
December 5 Program end date coincides with date of last final exam
December 13 Move out of housing
Open return Students establish their own date of return
