Note:	The program dates are typically confirmed on your official acceptance from the host university (issued a couple months after the USAC application deadline) and are subject to change. Please note, the host university may update program dates at any time; this is outside USAC’s control.
Note:	Due to continually evolving COVID-19 regulations field trip dates and locations are subject to change. Students will receive more details after the program start.
September 16	Departure from the U.S. on optional group flight
September 17	Arrival in Bristol
September 17	Move into housing
September 18 - 22	Mandatory University of Bristol welcome and orientation
September 25	Fall — First day of instruction
September TBD	Mandatory USAC orientation and welcome meal
October TBD	Field trip — London with afternoon tea
October TBD	Field trip — Hike from Seaford to Eastbourne (optional; weather-permitting)
November TBD	Field trip — Bath
TBD	Optional tour — Edinburgh*
November TBD	USAC Thanksgiving dinner in London
December TBD	Field trip — Oxford
December 15	Fall — Last day of instruction
December 18 - January 5, 2024	Winter break
January 8 - 19, 2024	Fall final examinations (assessment for most courses can be arranged to end before Christmas, especially those within the Arts and Social Sciences; however, this cannot be guaranteed)
January 22	Spring — First day of instruction
January TBD	Welcome meal with spring USAC students
February TBD	Field trip — London with West End performance
March TBD	Field trip — Windsor
March 25 - April 12	Spring break

May 3	Spring — Last day of instruction
May 7 - 10	Study/revision week

The host university may update program dates and/or field trips at any time; these changes are often outside USAC’s control as dates are set by the host university. USAC does its best to estimate these dates ahead of time and to keep it as up-to-date as possible. Many times, updated calendar dates are included in your host university acceptance letter. We update these as quickly as possible and as often as needed; refer back to this calendar for the most current dates.
