On-Site Staff for Florianópolis, Brazil
The Florianópolis program has a Resident Director who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program: securing appropriate student housing, hiring top-level faculty, organizing field trips and optional tours, and overseeing your general well-being. Luciane Stallivieri, Resident Director, is a native of southern Brazil and has worked for many years in international education. She has a doctorate in modern languages and a master's in international cooperation. She founded and ran the International Oce of the University of Caxias do Sul, while also serving as a faculty member and researching the internationalization process in universities. Fluent in English and Spanish, as well as Portuguese, she has a wealth of experience managing study abroad programs and teaching.

Program assistants Laura Baltazar and Renato Carvalho, meet the group flight at the airport, provides an on-site orientation, oversees your academic affairs, organizes interesting field studies, and accompanies you on the optional tours.
