Geelong is a waterfront, port city located on Corio Bay and the second largest city in the state of Victoria. Situated only 47 miles south-west of Melbourne, Geelong is known as the gateway to the Great Ocean Road and is only a short drive from popular beach-front communities.
The city center, also referred to as the Geelong CBD, is the oldest part of the city and includes many important landmarks, including Geelong Town Hall and the Geelong Botanic Gardens. The CBD is also a major shopping district and cultural area for the region.
