Travel postcard contest 2024
Travel postcard contest theme:
Doors and gateways
Capture the unique architectural doorframes, natural arches, or portals of your study abroad program location. What’s the most beautiful entranceway you’ve seen that is distinct to your site? Maybe it’s a wreath or decoration on a door? Maybe it’s your friends holding hands to create an archway in your favorite park? Let your imagination take you around the city.
Designs must be:
- Created by a current USAC student or alumni.
- Specific to one nation. Please include the country name in the design.
- 100% your artwork or photography; no downloadable stock photos or AI creations. Public domain fonts or those free for commercial use, such as most Google Fonts, are okay to use.
- 6.25 x 4.5 inches in size, vertical or horizontal, print-quality file (1875x1350 pixels minimum, which includes 1/8-inch trimmed edge).
- Front artwork only.
- Designed to include the USAC logo in the bottom right-hand corner (full color, or white-only, at .75 square inches). See design templates.
- Submitted as PDF (print-quality).
- Uploaded to the contest submission form by November 30, 2024, 12:00 a.m. (PST).
- Follow the terms and conditons.
Submit as many designs as you’d like!
Why send us one idea when you can send several? A panel of USAC alumni, students, and staff will vote on one winning design for each nation. Winners earn bragging rights and their designs will be printed on postcards for students abroad to mail home. Designers will be announced in January 2025.
